Low Partial Discharge Range

 

This range of bushings was designed to comply with market demands for lower discharge bushings. The range utilises a bonded flange arrangement which gives a cleaner electrical profile which is less prone to external discharges. These bushings are especially favoured in the Australian marketplace.

Available Designs
Designs are available from 12kV to 52kV and from 250A to 4000A.sign

Insulators
Insulator is one-piece ceramic porcelain. Standard porcelain colour is Grey. Brown porcelain is also available – consult us for lead times.

Metal Work
Conductors are electro-tin plated. Fixings and fasters are anti-corrosion plated.

Termination
Most bushings are supplied with screwed terminals. Highcurrent (HC) versions are supplied with plain terminals to enable terminationvia flag connectors. Alternatively conductors can be supplied with flatsmachined on oil side terminal to enable direct bolting of connector.

Fixation
Bushings are supplied fitted with an aluminium flange with fixing holes drilled to accept transformer cover studs. The flange is permanently bonded to the porcelain.
