The cast resin bushing assembly monobloc, rated up to 3.6kV provides an ideal solution for the termination of the LV side of a distribution transformer. Suited to most environments, Webster-Wilkinson Ltd have supplied this product to most regions of the world. Normally used in an oil/air arrangement, monoblocs can also be used in air/air applications when used with cast resin transformers. The monobloc should ideally be enclosed in a suitable box which we also manufacture and are happy to supply.

Most monoblocs are designed around an ‘F’ facing and normally have four terminals. By utilising different conductor sections and materials we can offer four main ratings – 1700A, 2700A, 3150A and 4000A. We are also able to supply three terminal arrangements – if required.

The main body of the bushing is manufactured from high grade brown epoxy resin.

All bushings utilise HDHC tin-plated conductors.

We can supply terminals with any drilling arrangement and length – giving a choice of number of cable take-offs up to a maximum of 7 take-offs per terminal. We can supply with all conductors of equal length or with shorter (neutral) terminals – if required.

Monoblocs are designed to fit over pre-existing weld studs and secured with nuts and washers.
